| Piedmont Regional Continuum of Care
(PRCoC) is a consortium of public service
agencies, private non-profit organizations,
advocacy groups, housing developers and
financial groups encompassing Cabarrus,
Davidson, Rowan, Stanly and Union
counties. The members of the PRCoC
provide leadership and direction in analyzing
the housing and homelessness service needs
of our community. The PRCoC works as a
group to develop solutions to address the
multi-faceted causes of homelessness within
the five county region. Our mission is to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to eliminate homelessness. We do this by providing opportunities and resources so all residents can access housing and services to attain self-sufficiency, safe affordable housing, education, employment and a good quality of life. The members of the PRCoC form a seamless continuum of services and housing for those who are homeless within the five county region. The continuum helps those who are homeless for any reason to move from the streets or emergency shelter to selfsufficiency and permanent housing. PRCoC also provides education, advocacy and public policy information to its members and the broader community. |
