Caregiver in a Private Home

GAST can provide free education and consultation to caregivers in private homes in specific situations.

Criteria:

• The person who is being cared for in the private home must be age 60 or above, have a mental illness and be at risk for a psychiatric hospitalization.

OR

• The person who is being cared for in the private home is less than age 60 but has “geriatric-like” needs, such as early onset dementia.
