As contract providers and practitioners in the network develop and implement more quality driven/best practice services, they may be interested in changing their profile status. PBH offers incentives for providers and practitioners who achieve Preferred, Exceptional and Gold Star placement on the profile system. These incentives are identified by PBH. The provider and practitioner must submit a PBH Provider self-assessment review to request an advanced placement on the profile. Quality Management verifies through an onsite review that the provider or practitioner has met all requirements for the level requested as well as the requirements for each level beneath the advanced placement requested. Providers or Practitioners seeking a level increase must be an active provider or practitioner in the PBH Network and meet the following requirements:

After Quality Management has reviewed a provider or practitioner for advanced placement, six months must lapse before the provider or practitioner can submit a new self-assessment for advanced placement.
